HCG diet is a very different program than most other weight management program in the market. Unlike what other weight loss programs require – strict diet combined with rigorous working out sessions – an HCG diet requires one to follow a firm, low calorie diet alone. Combined with regular, daily doses of HCG drops, the HCG diet can be a fast track way to reach one’s ideal weight. The best way to follow a weight loss program is to know each of the steps well and to ensure that one adheres to them very sincerely.

The steps for an effective HCG diet program are provided by one’s dietician or physician. But the general guide line steps are:  

Step 1 – The pre diet plan for an HCG diet includes a very high calorie diet for two days. Along with the HCG diet drops, this two day high calorie diet is very essential to build up reserves of normal body fat

Step 2 – In this phase, astrict low calorie diet is necessary to be followed for a period of nearly 30 days. With regular HCG diet doses andfirm diet plan, one lose nearly a pound a day during this period.

Step 3 – The same low calorie diet of phase 2 needs to be followed here too, but withoutthe regular administrationof HCG diet drops. During this phase, HCG gets out of the body completely

Step 4 – This is the maintenance period during which one starts with the regular diets that are healthy and long-term habit forming.
